Shade Trees
“From our beginnings, our focus has been on production of field grown balled and burlapped trees.”

For over 20 years it has been our goal to offer select flowering and shade trees that meet a special niche for discerning landscapes. Amongst our offering you will find trees that provide multi-seasonal appeal such as colorful or aromatic flowering, brilliant leaf color, attractive bark color, texture or exfoliation and colorful fruiting, often attractive to wildlife. Additionally, you will find those small and medium sized trees that are much sought after for today’s space-conscious settings. Have a look at our Catalog where you can search products by specific plant features.

Our attractive plant selections benefit from closely managed production on fertile Skagit River Valley soils and moderate Puget Sound weather. Ken and Sue personally supervise their experienced nursery team in every step of field culture, pruning and harvest. Ours is truly an owner-operator enterprise. This is your best assurance that our trees will never disappoint.

From our beginnings, our focus has been on production of field grown balled and burlapped trees. However we do have a small area of pot-in-pot production as well as in-ground grow bag on select varieties to supplement summer harvest and meet some special customer requests. As we look to the future and the preservation of our valuable top soils, we intend to continue to experiment with the incorporation of municipal compost and continued production in root control grow bags.
