All prices are in U.S. Dollars and F.O.B. growing grounds. Due to market conditions, prices are subject to change without notice. Buyer assumes all taxes and fees arising from the purchase, including import duty and phytosanitary certificates. Buyer is responsible for all costs and risks of shipment and off loading. Chrishaven Trees’s responsibility ceases and title is transferred on delivery to the carrier at Chrishaven’s loading site.
Payment is C.O.D. or net 30 days for those with established credit and we now accept credit cards. A 3% fee will be charged for Credit Card transactions. Past due accounts are subject to a 1.5% per month service charge (18% APR). A $30.00 fee will be charged for returned checks.
Additional Services
Plant Holding
In situations where it is necessary that Chrishaven hold plants for customers beyond the intended shipping date, additional time and holding expenses are needed to maintain ideal plant health and condition. If plants are held after April 1, please add 5% of invoice per month. Plant material that has been dug or tagged at the nursery in excess of 30 days before shipping requires a 25% non-refundable deposit.
New Accounts Deposit
New customers or those without established credit may be assessed a 25% non-refundable deposit prior to digging.
Customer Tagging
A 10% service fee may be added to sales price for trees that are field tagged by customer.
Summer Digging
Chrishaven Trees is happy to offer summer digging on those species which have proven successful in the past. Summer digging is subject to order minimums. In the case of small orders, and if time allows, Chrishaven will pool orders to assist customers in meeting minimums. Digging is contingent on favorable weather conditions and customer must assume liability for all plant material. Please allow a minimum of 5 days notice prior to digging. A summer digging/handling charge may be applied to cover special plant conditioning and handling expense. Customers without established credit must pay in advance for this service.
Cancellations
All orders cancelled after being dug are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Discounts Available
Chrishaven Trees offers discounts for volume purchasing based on a per order volume and on prior year sales. Your discount will be based on the dollar volume purchased during the previous year’s production cycle of Jan. 1 to Dec. 31st and will apply to every purchase in the subsequent year. Discounts are for plant material only. Shipping, handling and inspection fees are not eligible for a discount. All invoices must be paid according to terms to be eligible for a discount. No discounts available for Ginkgo or Oxydendrum.

Quality Guarantee
Chrishaven Trees guarantees that all trees sold will be true to name and in good, healthy condition when shipped. Chrishaven makes no warranty as to the effects of transporting, transplanting or storage of trees after they leave the farm. The Chrishaven Trees Quality Assurance Program strives to:
- source and plant quality liners
- root prune selected species
- maintain clean culture within the nursery
- conduct annual SODS inspection
- incorporate cover crops between rows and in our crop rotation plan
- provide timely fertilization per soil analysis
Claims
Any claims must be in writing and received by Chrishaven Trees within 10 days of receipt of shipment. In no case will Chrishaven be liable for any sum in excess of the purchase price.
